“We’re always looking for new ways to make it easier for our customers to manage their finances; Apple Pay fits in perfectly. Due to the corona pandemic, we are seeing a change in behavior among our customers who use less cash. Half of all payments are now made contactless, a sharp increase compared to 13% a year ago. With the introduction of Apple Pay in the ING Banking App, we are taking advantage of the impetus to offer our customers a new payment method that is easy to use in stores, on the go and online, ”says Amaury Vanthournout, Payments Director at ING Belgium.
iPhone users simply open the Wallet app, tap + and follow the steps to add a debit or credit from ING Belgium.
